Spider veins are dilated blood vessels on the skin's surface. They appear red or blue, and may be connected in web or branched pattern, or short, individual lines. Laser technology offers an effective means of treating spider veins. Laser light is absorbed by the spider veins, causing the vessels to heat and in turn causing the blood in the vessels to collapse.
This treatment is for one 30-minute session of spider vein therapy. 2 or 3 treatments, spaced eight weeks apart, may be required for best results.
